It’s easy to get stuck in traffic, and if you’ve got a mobile phone, you can even text your destination to get a personalized traffic light, bus route, or public bike route map.
But if you’re looking for a more personal way to navigate, there’s a new app called BikeMap, which has a slew of useful features for commuters.
The app, launched on Android earlier this month, lets you view public bike routes, public bus routes, bike routes that have been modified for pedestrians, and bike routes in your own city.
BikeMap even includes a feature that allows you to send a map of your route to a specific person, so you can send them directions on your phone or send them a message.
For most of us, biking is more than a convenient way to get around town.
It’s also a convenient, affordable, and environmentally-friendly way to commute to work or school.
In the United States, the share of American adults who bike to work has grown from 18 percent in 1970 to 25 percent in 2014.
It is now the largest transportation mode of transportation in the United Kingdom, with an estimated 4.5 million trips per day.
In Australia, the average bicycle commute is estimated to be about 40 minutes, while the average bus commute is only about 30 minutes.
BikeMap is available on Google Play, Apple App Store, and Windows Phone.
