When will Wisconsin’s public school voucher program begin?

WISCONSIN (AP) WISDUBER FOX8 – 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday, April 16, 2019 – Milwaukee public radio station WISDN announced that it is expanding its coverage of the Wisconsin public school vouchers program to cover Milwaukee’s public schools beginning April 17.

The program allows parents to get vouchers for their children to attend private or charter schools and pay for school meals.

In addition to the public schools, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has been working with the Milwaukee School District and other community partners to expand coverage to schools serving students in grades K-12.
