Seahawks to open preseason with exhibition vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The Seattle Seahawks announced on Tuesday they will open preseason practices against Kansas City on Friday.

Per the team’s website, “Saturday is the first day of training camp practice at the new Training Center located at the University of Washington.”

The practice will kick off at 1:00 p.m.

The Seahawks will not open preseason training camp on Saturday.

The team is also opening the preseason on Wednesday.

Seattle will open practice on Wednesday, July 15th, and open training camp Thursday, July 16th.

The preseason is scheduled to begin on Thursday, August 1st at 3:00pm PT.

The Seahawks have had some good preseason games thus far, as they defeated the Green Bay Packers 31-7 and defeated the Dallas Cowboys 36-14 on the road in Week 2.

In Week 3, the team defeated the Indianapolis Colts 24-16 in the first preseason game.

The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a bye week.

They are also in a playoff hunt for the first time since 2013.

They could potentially face off against the Minnesota Vikings in the wild card round, but the Seahawks could face the Cleveland Browns in the NFC Championship Game.

The next Seattle preseason game is on Saturday, August 8th at 4:00p.m PT.
